Magnetic fields
Avoid placing your watch on electronic units, such as loudspeaker or fridge,
which can generate powerful magnetic fields and may damage your watch.
Salt water
Always rinse your watch in fresh water after swimming in salt water.
Screw-in-crown
Screw down the crown carefully to prevent water from penetrating the
mechanism.
Non screw-down crown
Push it back into the neutral position (positioned against the case) to prevent water from
penetrating the mechanism.
Cleaning
For metal bracelets and water resistant cases, use a toothbrush and soapy water to clean
and a soft cloth to dry.
Chemical products
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc. as these
may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
Temperature:
Avoid extreme temperatures above 60℃ or 140℉ below 0℃ or 32℉ or
extreme temperature changes.
Water resistance:
A watch's water resistance cannot be permanently guaranteed.
It may be affected by the ageing of gaskets or by an accidental shock to
the crown. As stipulated in our service instructions,
we recommend you have the water resistance of your watch
checked once a year by an approved ZASPERO watch service center
Chronograph push-pieces
Do not operate chronograph pushers under water in order to prevent water from entering.
Intervals between service
As with any precision instrument, a watch needs regular servicing to ensure that it works
perfectly. We cannot recommend how frequently this operation should take place as it
depends entirely on the model, the climate and the owner's individual care of the watch.
As a general rule, a watch must undergo a service every 4 to 5 years depending on the
conditions in which it is being used.
Battery
We recommend that you contact a service center or approved ZASPERO
watch retailer. They are in fact the only ones who have the necessary
tools and equipment to undertake this work and to carry out the required
checks in a professional manner and ensure the battery is replaced
without any risk. Furthermore, only these specialists can guarantee
that their work will comply with the strict quality standards applied and
imposed by ZASPERO.
Leather strap
ZASPERO recommends that you follow the steps below in order to
preserve the condition of your leather strap as long as possible
1. Avoid contacting with water and dampness to prevent discoloration and deformation.
2. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent the color from fading.
3. Do not forget that leather is permeable! Therefore avoid contacting with greasy
substances and cosmetic products. It is not advisable to clean your strap with
leather cleaners.
